I Love to See the Temple

I took my family to the Brigham City's Temple Open House tonight. What fun that was! As we were touring, my six-year-old grandson kept saying "Ahhh..." and "Awesome". He was so cute! I held his hand and told him what the pictures in the temple were for (scripture stories) and what we did in some of the rooms. What a wonderful experience that was. So here are some pictures we took when we were outside. I love looking at the temple when it's all lit up at night.

I know what you're thinking... Can my family act normal - ever?

The answer is NO! hahaha

I love to see the temple.
I’m going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit,
To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.
I’ll prepare myself while I am young;
This is my sacred duty.

I love to see the temple.
I’ll go inside someday.
I’ll covenant with my Father;
I’ll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place
Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth:
A family is forever.

The Last Days of Freedom Hop

I'm excited to announce I'm doing a giveaway hop again! These are so much fun. Leave a comment with your email for a chance to win a PRINT copy or ebook (your choice) of "Take My Heart" - my sweet historical romance.

Mercedes Maxwell’s sister’s last wish was for Mercedes to find evidence against Kat’s husband, William Braxton, and have him hung as a traitor to the crown. Mercedes isn’t naïve when it comes to capturing traitors, because her own deceased husband had once been an agent for the King when they lived in England.

When she meets William Braxton for the first time, all is not as it seems. Portraying her twin, Mercedes knows this is the only way to get close enough to William to discover his secrets. What she finds along the way are little surprises she hadn’t counted on, especially when she begins to give her heart to a man who may be a spy against the crown.

My Little Princess

I realize I brag about my grandchildren, but they are so sweet and loving...how could I not?

Today, my three-year-old granddaughter, Gracelyn, went with her mother (my daughter) to a princess party. Gracelyn has always loved princesses and even the theme of her 3rd birthday was princesses!

Anyway, Heather (my daughter) took Gracelyn to this party being held in our community. I didn't go because I was spending quality time with Xavier (Gracelyn's 6 yr old brother). When Heather came back, I took some pictures of my princess. And of course...I knew I'd have to share them with everyone!

New Cover!!

I think I've said this before...but there's nothing like getting a new book cover. It's like Christmas all over again - but better. :)

I decided to do a little swapping with my characters and the titles in my "Heaven" series (Christian historical romance stories - The Grayson Brothers), and this will be book #2 - "Touching Heaven".  My hope is to have it out by the first part of August!!

Peter Grayson is traveling the wayward path against his family's wishes, gambling to earn his living after his brother was shot and killed.  Needing to experience life to the fullest now, Peter travels to Texas to reclaim his granddaddy’s sugar-cane plantation.  Finally, he saves enough from his gambling winnings to buy back the family home, but he’s robbed and left for dead. He’s nursed back to health by a kind—and mysterious doctor.  Seeking revenge for the injustice dealt him, Peter tracks down the young thief and his lovely sister, Cecilia Ashby.  Not only is Cecilia living on Peter’s plantation, but she’s keeping secrets of her own.
