I Love to See the Temple

I took my family to the Brigham City's Temple Open House tonight. What fun that was! As we were touring, my six-year-old grandson kept saying "Ahhh..." and "Awesome". He was so cute! I held his hand and told him what the pictures in the temple were for (scripture stories) and what we did in some of the rooms. What a wonderful experience that was. So here are some pictures we took when we were outside. I love looking at the temple when it's all lit up at night.

I know what you're thinking... Can my family act normal - ever?

The answer is NO! hahaha

I love to see the temple.
I’m going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit,
To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.
I’ll prepare myself while I am young;
This is my sacred duty.

I love to see the temple.
I’ll go inside someday.
I’ll covenant with my Father;
I’ll promise to obey.
For the temple is a holy place
Where we are sealed together.
As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth:
A family is forever.

How beautiful. We are going on Wednesday. Cannot wait. I'm glad your whole family was able to go. I hope it touched their hearts in some way.

How fun for you! It is such a beautiful building. We have enjoyed our drives through Brigham City watching it be built. Amazing to think that when we were young, the only temples along the Wasatch front were Salt Lake, Logan, then Ogden and Provo. Now temples bless most communities.
